The Peggy Guggenheim Collection is among the most important museums in Italy for European and American art of the first half of the 20th century. It is located in Peggy Guggenheim's former home, Palazzo Venier dei Leoni, on the Grand Canal in Venice. The museum was inaugurated in 1980 and presents Peggy Guggenheim's personal collection of 20th century art, masterpieces from the Gianni Mattioli Collection, the Nasher Sculpture Garden, as well as temporary exhibitions.

Opening hours: From Wednesday to Monday from 10:00 to 18:00, last entrance at 17:00. Closure: December 25th. me displayed on the calendar is referred to the first useful time in order to pick up the tickets at the Museum. Tickets can be collected at the membership cash desk at the ticket office of the museum.

Ticket allows entrance to the permanent collection, to temporary exhibitions being held on the date of the visit, and to the Nasher sculptures garden.

Reservations must be made with a minimum of 1 day notice.

PLEASE NOTICE: Confirmed time is not always the same time you requested; museum automatically confirms the closest available time on the same date if requested time is sold out.

ATTENTION: the morning of the visit, before museum opening, tickets are printed in the ticket office, and after this refund for no shows is no longer possible.

Cancellation Policy:
For cancellations once a confirmation code has been assigned to the reservation, up to 2 days before the date of the visit, we can refund cost of unused tickets minus service fee (reservation fee and online booking fee). For further cancellations and no shows, no refund is possible.

It is also possible to book the audio guide for the visit at the time of the order. A personalized tour of the Peggy Guggenheim Collection and the Gianni Mattioli Collection is available in Italian, English, German, French, and Spanish.
